Paws Up! provides an opportunity for a pet and family to live happily with one another. We address all behavior issues from potty training, social manners and nipping; teach proper leash walking behavior; how to handle more difficult behaviors such as fear, dominance, territorial, predatory and misplaced aggressions.
We will provide you with the skills necessary to communicate properly with your pet using positive reinforcement methods. We believe that learning to understand your pet’s behaviors, breed characteristic traits, identifying triggers, and meeting your pets needs is the key to a successful relationship. There is no such thing as a “bad” or “stupid” dog.
Prices vary according to the needs of you and your pet. It begins with a one and a half to two hour evaluation in your home. This will allow us to see what exactly the issues are, your daily routine involving your pet and to determine the best course of action.
Owning a pet should be a fun adventure, but it requires hard work and dedication. Behavior does not change overnight and it requires all family members involvement in the training process. While we can give you the tools to train your pet, you must commit to following the training schedule created to best suit your pet. Without that effort and follow up, we cannot guarantee that the training lesson will be a full success.
